Achim Glade is one of the founding partners of GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ and member of the CORPORATE department. His clients include national and international listed companies, large family businesses and financial investors. Achim Glade focusses on Mergers & Acquisitions, public takeovers of listed companies as well as joint ventures. With almost twenty-five years of experience in this field, he is highly respected in the German market for his deep knowledge paired-with with a pragmatic and result-oriented negotiation style.
As one of the founding partners, Achim Glade has been with GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ since its incorporation in 2007. Prior thereto, he was a partner in an international law firm since 2003 and an associate with another leading corporate law firm since 1999. In addition, he spent a year working for Davis Polk & Wardwell in their Menlo Park and New York offices.
Achim Glade earned his doctorate with a thesis on investor protection in futures trading at the University of Bonn after studying law. In parallel to attending law school, he worked as a risk analyst in the corporate finance division of Deutsche Bank AG.
Achim Glade is a member of the Düsseldorf Bar Association and the Corporate Law Association.
