Adil Khalid Tirmizey

Practice Areas

Adil is a partner at RIAA Barker Gillette based in Lahore. His main areas of practice include power and infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, corporate, commercial, banking and finance and project finance.

He regularly advises banks in relation to the entire range of banking matters including short-term financing facilities and long-term financing facilities, both on the conventional and Islamic mode. He also advises on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters.

Career

He joined the firm in 2015 and became partner in 2019. Before joining RIAA Barker Gillette he worked in a litigation capacity and has appeared before the Lower and High Courts of Pakistan in a variety of constitutional and civil matters.

Personal

Adil attended the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London where he attained a First Class Bachelor of Law degree. He went on to pursue his Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
