Career
Alan has worked in the construction sector throughout his career starting as an apprentice and then working for national developers and contractors as a Quantity Surveyor before re-qualifying as a Solicitor.

Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB)
Member of the Society of Construction Law.
Previously sat as a Board member of Constructing Excellence South West (CESW) and has been the joint author of a number of publications for CESW.
