Career
Alex Stojicevic is the co-founder a of MKS Immigration Lawyers, which opened its doors in November 2002. He has been the managing partner ever since of the firm that now includes eight lawyers and 17 staff. Recognized as one of the top immigration lawyers in Canada, Alex was chair of the National Immigration section of the Canadian Bar Association in 2007/2008 , and a member of the executive of the CBA's National Immigration section from 2004-2009. He won the CBA National Immigration Section's Award of Excellence in 2023. He also served on the CBA's National Sections Sub-Committee between 2019-2021, including as its Chair. Alex also taught Citizenship and Immigration Law at UBC Law School starting in 2011 as an Adjunct Professor and as a guest lecturer in 2015/2016. Most recently, Alex has been an officer of the International Bar Association's Immigration and Nationality committee.

With some 30 years of experience in Canadian immigration law, Alex is known for Innovative solutions to Canadian immigration and citizenship issues In both litigation and application processing. He has a varied practice involving clients in many industry sectors including but not limited to restaurant\hospitality, high-tech, food processing, agriculture, veterinary care, mining, and film. This practice involves a broad range of economic class applications, as well as humanitarian stream applications across the entire spectrum of Canadian immigration work. His appearing before three Divisions of the IRB as well as Federal Court.
