Alex is the Head of Tax controversy practice with Reff & Associates with over 17 years of BIG4 experience as a lawyer, been involved in high-profile disputes in the two largest tax litigation practices in the market.

Alex expertise mainly covers tax controversy and dispute resolution, civil law and real estate.

Alex has successfully assisted and represented in front of the Romanian authorities, Romanian courts and European institutions, a wide range of clients from various industries (e.g. energy, retail, oil & gas, heavy industry, cereal trading) in tax disputes in relation to VAT refunds, excises, interest requests for refunds or delayed reimbursements, annulment of acts of modification or non-modification of the taxation base, annulment of unlawful compensation, or suspension of taxation decisions.
