Career

Baker & McKenzie (Chicago), Associate 1978-79. Partner at Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramírez since 1983.

His experience includes capital markets, regulated industries, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Devotes a significant amount of his time to handle litigation matters and project finance transactions.

Has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Authority from 2000 to 2013. Also served on the Presidential Commission advising on legislation involving the banking sector and the Panama Canal Constitutional Amendments. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Banesco S.A.
