Alicia Dominguez is the Mining & Energy tax leading partner at EY Chile. She has practiced for over 30 years participating in tax advice to Chilean and foreign companies, corporate reorganizations and investments abroad, constantly leading structuring, operational, tax planning and tax risk assessment for several industries and within all range of taxes.
Career
Alicia is an Attorney-at-law with a graduate degree in Law, from Universidad de Chile. She has experience as Corporate Tax Law professor at the Extension Center of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Tax Law professor at Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Universidad del Desarrollo. She was also professor of Accounting for Lawyer at the Universidad de Chile.
She was nominated as one of the Chilean 100 Leading Women in 2012.
Experience
Her experience has specially focused on tax advice to energy and mining companies. She provides ongoing tax legal advice to companies in the mining sector such as Antofagasta Minerals, Barrick Gold, Sierra Gorda – KGHM, Anglo American, Consejo Minero (Chilean Mining Counsel), Lundin, Yamana, Gold Fields, Capstone Cooper, CODELCO, Collahuasi (AngloAmerican-Teck), and Teck, amongst others.
Alicia is widely recognised in the market as one of the preeminent Chilean tax advisors. She has been nominated several times by The Legal 500, International Tax Review and Chambers & Partners as one of the foremost tax advisors in Chile.
