Career
Allan is Founding Partner of Aziz & Kaye Business Law, a law firm specialized in solving legal issues of national and international companies, in a personalized and practical way, with a comprehensive vision and a business approach.
He advises a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs to institutional investors, as well as companies of various sizes, both Mexican and foreign. He has extensive experience in transactions involving the purchase and sale of companies, joint venture structures, project financing, shareholder agreements and other types of commercial negotiations. He also designs and implements corporate structures,
including capital restructurings, mergers, spin-offs, dissolutions and liquidations of corporations.
As part of his career, he has designed ad hoc mechanisms for succession planning and generational transition, both at the capital and administrative levels, in highvalue family businesses. As a result of his involvement in the matters entrusted to him, he participates in the board of directors of several companies, both Mexican and foreign, in Mexico.
Industry Sector Expertise
Has participated as a judge in the “Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition”, as well as in the International Commercial Arbitration Competition “Moot Mexico”, organized by the Arbitration Center of Mexico.
In addition to his legal practice, he is founding partner and promoter of a venture capital fund focused on investing in the esports ecosystem for the development of the esports industry in Mexico.
Clients
He has advised state governments, as well as federal government entities, on complex investment projects, and has structured mechanisms to facilitate the aviability of foreign investment in Mexico in various fields. He was part of the advisory team for the modification of the Public Sector Procurement, Leasing and Services Law to incorporate electronic auctions at the Federal level, as well as in the amendment of the Procurement Law of the State of Mexico in the same sense.
In the area of public procurement, he has advised several Mexican and multinational companies in public sector bidding and procurement procedures in different industries.
Experience
He is a professor at the Universidad Panamericana, teaching the subject of Commercial Contracts. He has also been a professor of corporate law in the Diploma in Business Law, taught by the ITAM, as well as at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
