Amanda practises in crime, professional discipline and coronial law and is a
particularly highly respected extradition specialist. She has practised in this niche
area of law for a number of years with cases ranging from first instance to the
Supreme Court and with individuals sought for crimes of dishonesty, murder, gang
rape, international people trafficking and war crimes.
She is regularly instructed on behalf of requesting governments including America,
the Republic of Moldova, the United Arab Emirates and Russia as well as the full
range of European cases.
For requested persons she acts in cases raising human rights concerns and prison
conditions across a plethora of jurisdictions, particularly in relation to vulnerable
persons and inadequate medical care, alongside technical arguments in relation to
request sufficiency and trial in absence. She is a thoughtful and conscientious lawyer
with a 'lovely manner' towards clients, instilling confidence both in the client and with
the court.
