Amanda is a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Partner and Head of Hamlins Dispute Resolution team.
Amanda advises on a wide range of commercial disputes and has over 20 years of experience acting for companies, partnerships and high net worth individuals. She has particular expertise in cases involving construction and engineering, professional negligence, insurance and reinsurance, financial and property issues and software licensing disputes.
Amanda has experience in all dispute resolution processes including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and settlement negotiations. She deals with financial disputes, particularly in relation to property investment portfolios and disputes or investigations of a regulatory nature, as well as representing clients in disputes where insolvency issues arise.
Her construction experience advising employers and contractors on issues such as delay, loss and expense, liquidated damages, payment notices, variations and defects and has particular expertise with technically complex engineering claims.
