Ami is a children law specialist and is instructed in both private and public law matters.
In addition to representation of local authorities, parents and wider family members, Ami is regularly instructed on behalf of children’s guardians.
Ami is experienced in challenging cases involving:
• serious allegations including of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, domestic abuse and coercive control;
• implacable hostility;
• complex medical evidence and serious injuries to young children;
• interplay with criminal proceedings; and
• forced marriage and applications under the Inherent Jurisdiction.
She has a particular interest in cases with a forensic fact-finding element and is experienced in supporting vulnerable clients.
Ami is qualified to accept Direct Access Instruction.
