Andreas advises on complex regulatory matters across the life sciences spectrum, drawing on his broad experience and in-depth knowledge of Swiss regulations, as well as the administrative procedures involved in manufacturing, promoting and selling medicinal products and medical devices, including pricing and reimbursment. In addition, he advises on matters concerning compliance, administrative and criminal investigations, and government liability.

As the former General Counsel of Swissmedic, Andreas had a lead role in drafting the complete revision of the Swiss Federal Act on Therapeutic Products (TPA) and its ordinances, which came into force in January 2019. He represented Swissmedic in all of the parliamentary committee meetings in this context. As a result, he has a comprehensive understanding of the current legal framework, as well as extensive knowledge of the Swiss legislative processes at both the parliamentary and executive levels.
