Notable cases include: R (Worcestershire CC) v Secretary of State for Local Government (mental health aftercare in the Supreme Court), R (Bridges) v South Wales Police (Article 8 ECHR and GDPR and automatic face recognition technology in the Court of Appeal), MacDonald v UK (Private life and community care in ECHR), Kennedy v Charity Commission (freedom of information and Article 10 ECHR in the Supreme Court) and R (Plantagenet Alliance) v Secretary of State for Justice and Leicester City Council (challenge to the decision to bury Richard III’s remains in Leicester).
