Andrew Tait KC’s areas of work are in planning, environmental, administrative and land compensation. He has wide experience across the planning field, in particular of Development Consent Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders, Compulsory Purchase Orders and parliamentary bills. Schemes he has promoted include the Victoria Station Upgrade, the Northern Line Extension, Barking Riverside Extension, Bank Station Capacity Upgrade, the Poole Twin Sails Bridge, the DLR (2012 Games Preparation) Order, the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon scheme, the Weymouth Relief Road, the South Devon Link Road and the East Leeds Orbital Extension. He acted for BAA on Crossrail, for BAA and BMW on HS2 and for ABP on the M4 Newport scheme. He also has appeared in many judicial reviews on infrastructure projects.
