Andrew Tutt is an appellate lawyer focusing on Supreme Court, appellate, and complex litigation. He has presented oral arguments before the Supreme Court in three cases raising nationally important questions of constitutional law, civil rights law, and civil procedure. He has argued over a dozen federal appeals, led appeals in nearly every federal circuit, and he has led the strategy, briefing, and argument in complex cases in federal district courts nationwide. His notable wins include a victory in the United States Supreme Court securing the reemployment rights of thousands of veterans and servicemembers. He also convinced the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals to recognize that individuals have a First Amendment right to record police officers in the discharge of their duties in public, subject only to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions.
