Andy Randall is the managing partner of the Walkers’ Hong Kong office.
Andy's broad offshore law practice spans capital markets transactions, including securitisations, secured note programmes and derivative transactions, asset finance work including shipping and aircraft financing, leveraged acquisition financings, property and project financings. Andy has a strong general corporate and secured lending practice and is routinely instructed by a large number of the world's leading international banks, financial institutions, major public and private companies, transaction arrangers and leading on-shore law firms.
Career
In 1996, Andy joined the Sydney banking and finance practice of Australian law firm, Mallesons Stephen Jaques (more recently, King & Wood Mallesons), specialising in asset and structured finance transactions and taxation law advice. Andy then moved to Hong Kong in early 2002 to join the commercial department of leading Asian law firm, Johnson Stokes & Master (more recently, Mayer Brown JSM) where he continued to specialise in structured finance, asset finance and banking transactions.
In 2004 Andy joined Walkers' Hong Kong office and became a partner in the Finance and Corporate Group in 2007. In 2009 Andy became the head of the Finance and Corporate Group in Hong Kong.
