Throughout her career, Ms. Lapierre has specialized in first-of-their-kind, ground-breaking energy projects and served as a leading voice in renewable energy procurement.
She focuses her practice on project development, construction, financing, acquisition and transfer of projects related to both renewable and conventional oil and gas production and infrastructure. She has advised on numerous energy and infrastructure projects across France, Europe, Morocco and French-speaking Africa. Ms. Lapierre also assists clients on carbon transactions, green hydrogen projects and energy efficiency solutions.
Ms. Lapierre sat for 12 years on the board of France Renouvelables, the French wind association and sits since 2017 as a sustainable development expert on Bertrand Piccard’s Solar Impulse Foundation’s Strategic Committee. She is highly regarded by all French and foreign market players and advises developers and industrial clients, as well as investment funds and banks.
Ms. Lapierre was a leading adviser on the innovative solar industry start-up initiative led by IRENA and TWI aimed at providing freely available “open source” standardized contract documentation designed to simplify solar power transactions.
