Anne-Marie Klijn is a leading Public Law expert. Her expertise ranges from administrative law, spatial planning law, environmental law, and government liability, to enforcement and supervision. Anne-Marie has over 30 years of experience of judicial process management, providing strategic and politically sensitive advice, and representing clients before Dutch courts including the Council of State.
Anne-Marie represents prominent clients including the municipality of Amsterdam and is sought after because of her extensive experience in advising on legally complex and large projects. The Minister of Infrastructure and Environment invited her as a member of the National Advisory Committee on the new Environmental and Planning Act. The act is considered as the biggest legislative operation since the renewal of the Dutch constitution in 1848. Anne-Marie regularly lectures on the new act at renowned institutions. Anne-Marie is sworn in by the Crown as a deputy judge of Administrative Law matters in the District Court in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
