Anne Marie Mürrle is an independent arbitrator with over 25 years of experience in national and international arbitration. She has served as president, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator, and emergency arbitrator in cases related to infrastructure projects, construction contracts, energy transportation, gas transportation, corporate law, distribution, franchising, mass transit, and telecommunications, among others. She previously served as President of the ICC Colombia Arbitration and ADR Commission from 2020 to 2023, and she is currently a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, appointed by the Republic of Colombia. She is a dual citizen of Colombia and Germany.

Experience
Served as president, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator, and emergency arbitrator in cases conducted under the ICC Arbitration Rules, covering a wide range of sectors including infrastructure projects, construction contracts, energy transportation, corporate law, distribution contracts, and franchising. Experienced in both international and domestic arbitration proceedings, appointed either by the parties or by the Arbitration Centers of the Chambers of Commerce of Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and Cartagena. These cases have involved both private parties and public entities in fields such as infrastructure, insurance, distribution, and construction. Additionally, she has been appointed by the parties or by the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce as a member of “Amigable Componedor” panels (similar to Dispute Board). Former President of the ICC Colombia Arbitration and ADR Commission (2020 – 2023) and a member of the Expert Commission appointed by the Colombian Government to revise the Arbitration Law (2022). Regular panelist at national and international arbitration conferences.
