Deals frequently with issues of federal jurisdiction and the preemption of state law. Represents entities and classes of individuals aggrieved by plan terminations before and against the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Has argued before the US Supreme Court. Served as firm Chair from 2011 – 2017.
