Practice Areas

Antoine has a broad experience in all aspects of the Cambodian legal landscape. He is specialized in Tax, Labour & Employment and Healthcare & Life Sciences as Practice areas and in Insurance & Risk Management, and Manufacturing & Industrials, as industrial sectors. He has played a pivotal role in drafting legislation for these sectors. He advises various Cambodian ministries, multinational corporates and international organizations.

Antoine is very active in numerous forums. He is a Vice-Chairman of the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Association (CAMFEBA) and is personally in charge of Social Protection and labor law reforms. He is Vice-chairman of the Human Resources committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (Eurocham), in charge of the legal aspects. He is Chairman of Eurocham’s Tax committee and a member of the Government Private Sector Forum (GPSF) Working Group “D” ‘Tax, Law and Governance’.

Over the years, Antoine built up strong relationships with the relevant stakeholders to defend his clients’ best interests in Cambodia.

Career

A member of the Paris Bar, Antoine has lived and worked in Cambodia for almost three decades.

He was a founding partner of Bun & Associates from 2006 to 2023. He then becames a partner of ANANT Law Firm.

Antoine holds a Ph.D. in Insurance Law and a Master Degree in tax and business law from France. He used to teach from 1999 to 2017 at the Royal University of Law and Economics a large range of topics from history of ASEAN Laws to Administrative and Corporate Law. He is fluent in English and French and conversational in Khmer.
