LABOR LAW
As a seasoned labor lawyer, he has long-standing relations with domestic and multi-national corporations, which he continues to represent in litigation cases in the NLRC and in appellate courts. He also continues to represent and assist corporate clients engaged in collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations and compulsory and voluntary arbitration proceedings. His expertise further covers various labor matters involving unions such as strike contingency, strike handling, and certification election proceedings. Dedicated to guiding clients achieve industrial peace, one of his countless notable successes is the recently concluded CBA negotiations between telco giant PLDT and its labor union.
IMMIGRATION LAW
In addition to his Labor Law practice, he specializes in Immigration Law and leads the Firm’s Immigration Department. He handles a wide array of immigration matters which encompass emigration and immigration regulatory issues. He has handled naturalization and citizenship matters before administrative and judicial bodies. He has likewise represented foreign clients – including expatriates – before the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, and has assisted in securing and renewing work permits and visas.
Atty. Antonio C. Pido, a Senior Partner and a former public servant, has a solid professional background in Labor Law and Immigration Law.
His vast private practice in labor law is well complemented by his experience in the government sector as a former Executive Labor Arbiter of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC). Even after ending his stint in government service, Atty. Pido continued to share his time and expertise with the legal community. He contributed to the drafting of the NLRC Rules of Procedure and lectured in various labor education seminars.
