Anwen is a Partner in Lee & Thompson’s Film & TV Group.

An experienced media finance specialist, Anwen is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading film, TV and video games finance lawyers. Anwen has built a practice which is a real reflection of the ever-changing global entertainment business, enabling her to respond fully to clients’ needs. For the past four years Anwen has also been on the board of Ffilm Cymru Wales.

In 2022, the Government appointed Anwen as a BFI Governor for a term of four years. Anwen’s role is to advise on all aspects of the BFI’s activity in the creation of its public and screen sector strategy for National Lottery Funding over the next 10 years, including the strategic development of television, video games, interactive and immersive technologies as part of the evolution of the UK’s “moving image” landscape. In particular, Anwen looks to specifically address BFI policy relevant to Wales.
