Stephanie Birmanns

Practice Areas

The practice of Stephanie Birmanns focuses on merger control cases before the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office. She also advises on the assessment of filing requirements and the coordination of filings in other jurisdictions worldwide. Her practice also comprises advice on foreign direct investment matters in Germany. In addition, Stephanie has extensive experience in representing clients in cartel investigations at the German and EU level and regularly advises on dominance- and distribution-related matters.

Career

Stephanie joined Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz as counsel in 2013. Prior to this she was counsel Arnold & Porter (2009-2013) and Shearman & Sterling (counsel 2008-2009; associate 2001-2008).
