Barry Nigro is Chair of Fried Frank’s Global Antitrust and Competition Department. He rejoined the Firm from the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, where he served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General, responsible for civil and criminal enforcement, and Deputy Assistant Attorney General. He has also served as Deputy Director for the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition. His practice is focused on the clearance of mergers, antitrust investigations and litigation, grand jury proceedings, and compliance counseling and training.
