Acting for Chinese contractor on submissions to DAB relating to $350 million housing project in the Maldives.

Advising specialist Sub-Contractor under the NEC3 contract, including advice on compensation events and settlement options.

Assisting a major Indian law firm in defending a $400million High Court injunction as part of a London Maritime Arbitration dispute involving an asset in Turkey, working with the clients based in India and with London as the seat of the Arbitration

ICC arbitration for non-payment of profit share arising from co-development of a series of UK energy projects, where the counterparty was Danish and claims in excess of £2million.

Advising on grounds for termination and repudiation of contract based on non-compliance with instructions, breach of programme and alleged suspension.

Bill is well known and widely recognised in the construction and engineering sector. Bill advises on all aspects of contentious and non contentious projects in the UK and internationally.

Throughout his career he has acted for main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, public sector organisations and developers providing advice on contracts, adjudication, arbitration and litigation as well as advising foreign clients on international contracts under English Jurisdiction. Has a number of reported cases on adjudication and recent experience includes advising colleges and universities on development projects, as well as advising on all forms of JCT, ECC and International Contracts.

Bill has worked on pharmaceutical, rail, road and oil projects in the UK and internationally. He has worked on JV construction projects in Italy, Tunisia, South Africa and Ghana. Bill is highly regarded for drafting and negotiation of bespoke contracts, as well as advising on all forms of JCT, ECC and International Contracts. He has extensive experience of energy projects, particularly wind and biomass, with particular expertise in FIDIC and EPC contracts. He regularly moderates and speaks at seminars and conferences in UK and internationally.
