Breno is recognized for his longstanding experience in Maritime Law, especially in maritime litigation, acting in a variety of high-level disputes involving matters such as shipbuilding, sale and purchase of vessels, charter parties, carriage contracts, commodities and foreign trade, bills of lading, cargo claims, accidents, oil spill, ship arrest and Public Authorities infractions, representing shipowners, charterers, port terminals, commodity companies, shipyards, and their respective insurers. He also works with consultancy and regulation related to the maritime sector and, lately, he has consolidated a reputation in representing shipowners and operators in administrative and civil litigation against Petrobras, as well as in representing the interests of such clients in bidding processes.
