Catherine has acted on a wide range of commercial development projects in London, advising on all aspects of the planning process including planning strategy, referrals to the GLA and Secretary of State, approach to environmental impact assessment, stopping up, freedom of information requests, and minimising risk of judicial review.
Through her work on major infrastructure projects, Catherine has developed expertise in many areas of law which are essential to supporting the success of large scale developments. Alongside her core expertise in steering applications through the town and country planning process, she is well known for her in-depth understanding of compulsory purchase and land assembly, highway law and traffic regulation, the over-riding of third party rights to facilitate development, and diversion of major services and utilities to accommodate new developments.
