Career

Cesar’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and administrative and tax litigation in a wide range of sectors and transactions, representing national and foreign clients.

He has a vast experience in tax litigation and controversies, as well as handling procedures initiated by tax authorities involving transfer pricing, financial system, corporate restructuring and anti-money laundering. Even though he is a litigator, for Cesar, litigation is his last resort, as he always seeks to resolve disputes to avoid litigation.

Cesar also enjoys academia; he is a professor at the Georgetown University in Washington D.C. in International Taxation, and he has been a professor of tax law at Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE).
