Charles Bardou practices corporate and commercial law from Dentons’ Montreal office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and on construction, infrastructure and public-private partnerships.
Charles represents clients in connection with share and asset purchase transactions, amalgamations and corporate reorganizations in a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, professional services, construction and education. He also regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates partnership and shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, services agreement, construction contracts and other commercial agreements. Charles also advises clients on commercial leasing and licensing matters, drafting and reviewing commercial leases and applications for various licenses and permits from public authorities.
As part of his infrastructure and public procurement practice, Charles advises public authorities and private-sector entities in connection with the procurement process and project implementation.
Charles also advises foreign clients establishing or acquiring a business in Canada and guides them through the particularities of doing business in Québec.
