Extensive experience in cases involving murder, manslaughter, drug conspiracies, robbery, kidnap and all types of organised crime. Recent high profile cases include a 30 year old cold case review into a double murder and the UK's largest ever counterfeiting currency conspiracy.

Wide-ranging fraud practice including multi-million pound abuses of the Film Tax Credit system, computer hacking, mortgage fraud, Missing Trader Frauds, Boiler Room frauds, carbon credit trading schemes and bribery/corruption cases. Comprehensive knowledge of money laundering and confiscation provisions including civil forfeiture.

A high level of expertise in defending sexual offences including rape and historic child abuse cases.

Strong appellate practice: regularly asked to advise on appeals where no grounds have previously been found.

In-depth knowledge of road traffic law and driving cases, often defending high-profile clients and instructed by insurers in fatality cases.

Regularly instructed in cases involving Enforcement Notices under the Town & Country Planning Act as well as breaches of Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Orders.
