Partner, Real Estate Department; Chair, Condominium & Planned Real Estate Development. Focuses practice in real estate, with concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law. Work encompasses new construction condominium and subdivided lot communities, conversion of rental properties to condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial/business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Experience in acquisition/sale, mortgage financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, provides litigation support in construction defect cases and transitions from sponsor to unit owner control. Community association representation includes general counseling, collections, alternative dispute resolution.
