Chris advises regarding regulatory requirements affecting clients' operations and identifies cost-effective compliance solutions, including demonstrating compliance, negotiating penalty reductions and corrective action requirements in enforcement cases, performing self-audits, and developing supplemental environmental projects.
Chris negotiates environmental risk allocations in transactions, drafts contract provisions to address environmental issues, and evaluates issues that may affect the value or viability of a deal. He also counsels asset sellers and buyers about environmental issues in bankruptcy proceedings.
