Her area of practice also involves financings, mainly international, having advised throughout the years, both banks and businesses in key projects for Uruguay.

She worked at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal (2001). She has a LLM at Georgetown University Law Center (2000-2001), passed the New York Bar Examination (2001) and therefore is currently admitted to practice both in Uruguay and New York.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of World Services Group and of the International Bar Association.

She has been further recognized by Uruguayan newspaper El Observador amongst the 50 most influential women in Uruguay and by Latin Lawyer amongst the 50 most inspiring women in law in Latin America. In 2023, she was granted the award “Best Corporate Female Lawyer in Latin America” (Women in Business Law Awards) by Euromoney.
She was recognised among the world’s leading female transactional lawyers for 2021 by IFLR1000 Women Leaders, and she was also acknowledged as Women Leader for 2022.
She has also been distinguished LACCA Thought Leader 2023 for her performance in corporate law – mergers and acquisitions.
She is member of the executive committee of the firm, and head of Diversity & Inclusion. She also participates in the International Steering Commitee of the Women in the Profession Program by Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice as well as other initiatives regarding female leadership in the legal profession.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of World Services Group and of the International Bar Association.
