Cornelia’s practice focuses on financial services and financial market law, data protection law and general contract law.
She has specific knowledge and experience in the legal analysis of new products, systems and technologies in the financial markets. She accompanies projects in connection with digitisation, FinTech, Blockchain/Distributed Ledger Technology and data policy at all stages, from the examination and implementation of business and regulatory requirements to the contractual layout and the set-up of internal processes.
Cornelia combines legal expertise with business experience gained and developed in a group legal service and as secretary to the board of a Swiss financial services provider as well as Co-Director of Swiss FinTech Innovations and Executive Director of the Swiss Leasing Association. She accompanies extensive projects and advises boards of directors and other decision-makers on legal and reputational issues in the context of her practice areas.
Additionally, Cornelia is involved in legislative projects, namely in her function as member of expert groups of the Federal Administration, as permanent guest of the Swiss Bankers Association's Commission for Digitisation and as member of the working groups on financial market law, data protection and data policy of economiesuisse.
