Craig Hoover heads the firm's Global Class Action group and has successfully defended clients in hundreds of class action cases in federal and state courts across the country. Craig was elected to three terms on the firm’s Global Board and has served in leadership positions in the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration and Employment Practice Group.
Craig's practice focuses primarily on class actions and other complex litigation, and he has served as lead counsel in numerous major federal multidistrict litigation proceedings. Craig has a proven track record of winning class action cases at all stages: dismissal on the pleadings, denial of class certification, entry of summary judgment, and winning at trial.
Craig advises clients on a wide range of ESG issues and represents global companies in ESG-related litigation. He also defends litigation involving antitrust, privacy, cybersecurity, RICO, ERISA, false advertising, unfair competition, insurance, deceptive trade practices, and other general commercial matters.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Craig served as a law clerk to The Honorable Robert J. Kelleher of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and was an editor of the Duke Law Journal.
