Cristina Martorana is specialised in administrative and environmental law.
She has deep experience in Italian and European administrative law (judicial and out-of-court), particularly in the regulated fields of energy and infrastructure with reference to issues related to the construction, acquisition or financing of plants that produce energy from renewable and conventional sources, network infrastructures, gas, district heating, waste to energy, trading as well as in environmental law, healthcare, PPP and public procurement.
Career
Joined Legance in 2019 as coordinator of the Milan based administrative energy team.
Previously Partner in Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (Europe) LLP (2015–2018), in Watson Farley & Williams (2012–2015) and in Clifford Chance (2007–2012).
Before she was Counsel (2004-2007) and Senior Associate (2002-2004) in Clifford Chance and Senior Associate in Macchi di Cellere e Gangemi (2001-2002) and in Baker & Mc Kenzie (2000–2001) and Associate at Studio Legale Prof. Avv. Giuseppe Volpe, Pisa (1994-2000).

Cristina Martorana is a lecturer at conferences and seminars on administrative/environmental law and project finance, she also has a strong academic experience as a professor.
