Cristina Rodriguez enjoys being in front of a judge and jury. She advocates for businesses in all types of complex disputes, and is experienced in trying cases with only a short time before trial. With her substantial experience as a trial lawyer, she can provide clients with strategic advice to help manage risk long before the dispute reaches the courthouse. Fluent in Spanish, she can also work seamlessly with clients and witnesses in Latin America.
Cristina has gone to trial for a diverse group of clients. Cristina's work ranges from defending accounting firms accused of malpractice or fraud, to counseling employers on various employment issues, to pursuing or defending commercial disputes, including breach of contract, securities, non-compete, and trade secret claims. She also handles sensitive internal investigations that involve allegations of harassment, discrimination, fraud, or other violations of law or of company policies.
Cristina has served on the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee, comprised of Texas judges and lawyers appointed by the court to advise it on rule-making issues. She also served on the Pattern Jury Charge Committee of the State Bar of Texas. She often speaks or sits on panels regarding issues of diversity and inclusion in the profession.
