He holds a Master of Laws (LLM), School of Law, Columbia University, New York, USA (1998) and a Master of Business and Administration (MBA), Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago, USA (2013).
Member of the Chilean Bar Association (1996), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). He was appointed by the former President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, as a member of the Board of the Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco) (2006 – 2008). He has been also appointed as a member of the list of arbitrators of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
