Damir Topić is the Head of the M&A team and Head of the Banking, Finance, and Capital markets team. His core interest is in representing strategic and private equity clients in complex cross-border and domestic transactions, including company takeovers, acquisitions and mergers, sales, recapitalisations, and joint ventures and investments.
As one of the leading Croatian lawyers in the field of mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate law, Damir has been involved in some of the largest and most significant Croatian and regional transactions. He has represented clients from various industries, including telecommunications, media, FMCG, IT, banking, tourism, etc. Additionally, his has considerable experience in advising clients on company management, privatization, and concessions. Damir also provides international financial institutions and clients with valuable advice on IPOs, listings, and securities issues.
Highlights include advising European Investment Fund (EIF), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Intesa Sanpaolo, JP Morgan, Société Générale, etc.
