Dan is the partner in charge of McFarland’s Dallas office. He has dedicated his entire career to representing real-estate stakeholders. During his career, he has worked with clients from dirt to disposition, through contract negotiation to courtroom advocacy. Dan combines his experience as a real estate lawyer with McFarland’s singular focus on eminent domain to put his clients in the best position possible for the best possible result during the condemnation process. At McFarland, Dan’s recent successful results include a favorable jury verdict in Bastrop County, a favorable jury verdict in Tarrant County, a judgment over $2,300,000 for a convenience store owner that received an approximately $200,000 initial offer, securing an over $1,500,000 increase in compensation for a nationwide developer with property mid-development impacted by a utility easement, and nationwide representation of a Texas-based real estate investment trust.
