Daniel Vázquez is a partner in the Madrid office and Head of Dentons’ Public Policy and Regulated Sectors Practice Group in Spain. Daniel also heads the Environmental Practice Group in Spain.
With 20+ years of experience, Daniel advices major domestic and international companies from nearly all economic sectors on complex regulatory matters in connection with the implementation and development of new activities and the launching of the new products and services in Spain.
As part of this work, Daniel regularly represents his clients before the national and regional authorities and also before the courts at all instances, from lower courts up to the Supreme Court.
His practice includes also environmental law, where he has broad experience with EU and domestic regulations governing industrial emissions, atmospheric pollution, climate change, waste, chemical substances, product regulations (such as WEE, RoHS, batteries and packaging) and land contamination.
Daniel is recognized by the most reputable legal directories, including Chambers, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal as a true expert (Band 2) in environmental law in Spain. His team is also recognized in public law and regulatory matters.
