David is a world-class lawyer and a pioneer in the banking industry in Ghana with an extensive legal, investment and corporate banking career, spanning 33 years. He was instrumental in the initiation and development of the securitized mortgage concept in Ghana and the implementation of the Ghana Stock Exchange's first renounceable rights issue. David was also involved in the first cross-border listing of Ashanti Goldfield's Company in 1994. David's legal practice places emphasis on due diligence in corporate finance issues, including advice on onward bound investments and the structuring of investments by and on behalf of private equity funds and other investors. He also provides advice and representation to companies within oil and gas sector and has been involved in key negotiations relating to petroleum agreements in Ghana. David's clients include Ghana Commercial Bank Capital, Royal Gold Inc, and Republic Investment Bank.
