Career
David Goldman is a tax partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
His practice involves a wide variety of transactional and advisory work in the partnership tax, corporate tax and executive compensation areas. Mr. Goldman has substantial experience in the structuring of joint ventures, private investment funds and other partnership vehicles, as well as the structuring of taxable and tax-free corporate merger and acquisition transactions and portfolio investment transactions.
Mr. Goldman is a former chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Pass Through Entities Taxation Committee. He has also spoken on, and authored or co-authored numerous articles on, various transactional tax issues.
Mr. Goldman is a former chair of the board of directors and current treasurer of Menorah Housing Foundation, a non-profit real estate development and management company dedicated to the provision of affordable housing to low-income seniors in the Los Angeles area.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Goldman practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Young & Company in New York and earned his M.B.A. degree in Finance from New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration.
