Mr. Chen focuses his practice on M&A and foreign direct investment. Mr. Chen was named among the "Top 15 M&A Lawyers in China" by Asian Legal Business in 2018.
In M&A in recent years, he often advises on mining M&A in Africa, acting as lead counsel in multi-jurisdiction deals listed on stock exchanges in the UK, Canada, and US.
In FDI he advises a wide range of industries including agricultural enterprises especially in light of new regulations in genetically modified foods adopted in 2022. He has assisted international banks and law firms in establishing a presence in Beijing.
