David Ereira

David Ereira is a partner in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. He joined the firm in 2024. His practice focuses on restructuring and insolvency. He has represented debtors, creditors, shareholders, management governments, insolvency practitioners and investors on all aspects of situations involving financial distress, much of his work has involved resolving complex capital structures either within or outside of formal bankruptcy and the restructuring and cross jurisdictional aspects of bankruptcy law affecting international companies. He has extensive experience in the resolution of failing banks and regulated financial institutions. He has also worked closely with investors in distressed real estate and asset-based transactions. David was chairman of the UK Insolvency Service and is actively involved in several insolvency organizations and professional committees.
