Practice Areas
David Hunter concentrates his energy practice primarily on infrastructure projects and offshore oil and gas development, representing companies and lenders in transactional, regulatory, and contractual matters. On the project finance side, David represents domestic and foreign lenders and participants in the development of major infrastructure projects, including chemical plants, pipeline systems, offshore processing facilities, hydrocarbon storage projects, and LNG facilities (with many of these projects involving assets in Louisiana and Texas). On the oil and gas side, he represents buyers and sellers of mineral properties and pipeline facilities, as well as the lenders in these transactions. He also provides advice on BOEM lease obligations, bonding and abandonment requirements, and all elements of regulatory compliance under the BOEM and BSEE schemes.
