Practice Areas
Lisa Futrell has practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, and financial restructuring for more than 35 years. The scope of her practice includes the representation of creditors, debtors, trustees, and official and ad hoc committees in Chapter 11 cases, a foreign representative in Chapter 15 cases, adversary proceedings, out of court restructurings and forbearances, asset sales and purchases, Louisiana foreclosure litigation, and state and federal court litigation involving creditors’ and debtors’ rights.
Career
Lisa has been a Partner at the firm since 1986 and is a former member of its Board of Directors (2006-2012). She has qualified to testify as an expert witness in federal court in the fields of bankruptcy and creditors' and debtors' rights.
