Dave Mitrani is a member of Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock, P.C., specializing in federal, state, and local campaign finance, advocacy, and non-profit tax laws. He advises candidates, political committees, state parties, labor unions, corporations, and other entities on navigating complex finance, lobbying, and advocacy regulations. Dave also supports non-profits with tax-exempt status, political activities, charitable solicitations, and corporate governance. Additionally, Dave helps advocacy organizations ensure compliance with lobbying, gift, and ethics laws.

Dave assists organizations, both local and national, with setting up systems to educate staff and consultants on ways to

comply with this growing web of regulation, and to track the data required for public reporting. He is frequently quoted on campaign finance issues in major media outlets, including CNN, The New York Times, Politico, Reuters, USA Today, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, and more.

Previously, Dave was Communications Director for Tommy Sowers and worked with the communications departments of the Democratic Congressional and Senatorial Campaign Committees and the Democratic National Committee. He holds a magna cum laude BBA in Finance from George Washington University and a law degree from George Mason University. He is admitted to the Bar in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
