David Paterson is an associate in the Singapore office of Milbank LLP and is a member of the firm's Transportation and Space Group. David acts for financiers, equity investors, leasing companies, operators and export credit agencies primarily on aircraft backed international finance and leasing transactions. He also advises on acquisitions and disposals of assets and asset portfolios. His experience encompasses a variety of leveraged debt, capital markets and leasing transactions and includes pre-delivery financings, Japanese operating leases, French tax leases, Islamic financings and transactions involving export credit agencies. As well as advising on the structuring and execution of such transactions, he also has recent experience of advising lenders, finance lessors and operating lessors on restructurings both of airlines and leasing companies.
